I was feeling overwhelmed a few weeks ago after receiving a couple of pairs of earrings as a gift. I make a lot of my own and keep getting them as gifts, and felt like I wasn't wearing some because they were out of sight. I was looking for a way to get them out of the jewelry armoire and up... somewhere. So I checked out Amazon, came upon Angelynn's organizers, and saw these acrylic holders -- a cost-effective way to go compared to some of the others offered. Then I noticed the colored acrylic was even less expensive than the clear, and started thinking... didn't want it on the wall and exposed anyway, and I'd decided to repurpose a medicine cabinet with a mirrored door on it, so who cares about the color? I ordered three of the blue ones and figured I'd just load the cabinet up.Finally got to the project today and I'm beyond pleased with these! So sturdy, and it's flat-out AMAZING how much these organizers can hold -- and then some. Not only did I use only one hole for most pairs, I drilled evenly-spaced notches on the top of each one so I'd have even more hanging holes. Then I used a few S hooks at the bottom of one to hold bracelets and hoop earrings, etc. They come with nice, long screws, and the two I put inside the cabinet I screwed straight through into the wall for heavier earrings. (Since there's a mirror on the other side of the door, I put that one up with some heavy-duty, double-sided sticky foam strips I had on hand, and put my lightest earrings on that one. Works great.) If you don't want to hang them, they come with feet, but that seems wasteful because those bottom holes are crucial. They mount ½" away from the wall -- plenty of room for wires and earring backs, and for other things to drop behind them if you want.It's so great to have all my earrings in sight. What an excellent storage solution! Do not hesitate, the capacity is amazing and "installation" is a breeze. I just can't say enough good things about them. Might even order another.
